Six (6) young ferrets have been surrendered to the Galveston County
Animal Services in Texas City, Texas. This pound does have issues with
canine distemper from time to time so one of the wonderful ladies who
works there have taken these ferrets home with her, but she can not
keep them.

She says they are young - around a year old. One was surrendered; then
three - she is keeping the one and one of the three - leaving a pair
needing a home. Then today she had four more surrendered. Total of 6
ferrets needing new permanent accomodations.

If you can possibly fit one, two, or even more ferrets into your
business please call Gwen at Galveston County Animal Services,
M-F, 8-6 CST - ASAP.

If you call during noon hour and she is away from her desk please leave
a message with your name, phone number, and that you are calling about
