Hi,
I was wondering, when ferrets get their shots (distemper and rabies
vaccine) does your vet use the shoulder/neck area or the back leg area?

I took 3 of my ferts to the vet today and the vet was new and used the
back leg for the shots on two and then used the front neck/shoulder area
for one (she was really having trouble giving the shots and I had said
that they don't usually give them in the back leg) so she switched and
gave it in the front instead.

I know that their skin is tough, but boy she was having a difficult time.
poor ferts.

So, my question is...does it matter what area they use?
