Okay, I'm new to the list but I have been researching ferrets for about 2
years now -- no, I'm not a vet but pretty close ( just kidding -- I'm not
even in college)  Just a few ( maybe 2 or 3) questions:
 
1. ( Yes, I'm older than 7 or 10 cause I know SOME children can't be
trusted if they are not taught properly ) but I live with my parents and
I want to convice them that ferrets are soooo cool but they DO KNOW that I
am responsible, but they hate ferrets!  They wont budge!!  They say that
they stink, and they are rats ( not true - part of the mustalidae family )
and they say NO.  I love looking at ferrets from pet stores but my parents
hate even seeing them -- NOBODY in my house is allergic but they wont
budge - -HELP!!  I need a good response to this :)  I'M DESPERATE TO KNOW
HOE TO HELP THEM.
 
2. How can I get a good ferret?  There are only about 2 pet stores around
here besides petstores that only sell fish and stuff == only FERRET
SUPPLIES - no fuzzles!  Well, I've looked EVERYWHERE for a breeder but
first, they are WAY expensive and I dont wanna go to another STATE to
find a breeder.
 
The petstores around here DO have ferrets cause I live in a busy BUSY
city.  But most of them are........................................well,
u guessed it -- MARSHALL FARMS.  Look, I know all you ferretlovers know
about the issue with MARSHALL FARMS -- if ya dont or have a different
opinion, I'm sorry but I beg to differ -- otherwise, please give me tips
on how to deal with this.  I'm beginning to think that the only place that
sells "NON-MARSHALL" ferrets is the Pedigreee store but its in the hot
mall where every lil kid had touched the lil fizzies and some Pedigreee
shops are deplorable conditions.  :(   HELP!
 
Okay, I'm quite the talker but PLEASE answer my questions with a lenghty
response -- if possible -- if not, just a short one will do and ANY advice
will help - I need all ya'll!
