HI Folks,
Wow is THIS how the seasons change?  It seems we went form really hot to
pretty darned chilly up here at Ferret Wise.  Momma has not put the heat
on yet but we are snuggling into our bedding a LOTS these days!
 
Well Sketch went to his new home and he is doing famously and the 2 boys
now have a gal that joined them.  Dapper and Liz-Beth are cuddling
together lots now waiting for their new families to find them.  JJ still
is naughty and will not play nice with them, so they get to play with me
in the afternoons and evenings JJ and the rest of us play all day until
then.  I like it I get extra times to play, sometimes old lady Biscuit
stays out to play too.
 
Poor ol' Biscuit has had health issues ever since early Spring.  She
really had Momma going last week- She was not very awake and Momma was
expecting the worse, she called shelter Dad and the vet and set up a
appointment for her before she had to go to her own Dr. Well Biscuit
looked brighter when she got to the vet so they gave her lots of meds,
lupron, melatonin and sent her back here and she is doing some better
though losing some weight still.  I think she is holding out for Santa
Paws myself!  She is hoping for a new and cuddle sleep sack!  Too funny!
I hear that Jerimiah is writing a Thanksgiving letter to everyone on our
shelter list - not sure how and he will be mailing it for the shelter
fund... something about neat cards with his picture on them-- I can't
wait to see this!  :)
 
Meanwhile Mom is washing the window blankets to get ready for the cold
days ahead and we are looking forward to a weekend workday this Saturday!
I hope I gets to meet a lot more friends.  GREAT news is that Ted has a
forever home- you remember the ol' boy who Mom called Hop A Long who had
been dumped at a NH vet office with a broken leg.  Well the best news is
he can walk and climb even it is not perfect but he is out of a cast-
and playing and getting to know a tubby gorgeous gal in his new home.
Ted ( Hop A Long) was adopted by Dr Sandra in NY one of the vets that
helped fix him.  She just could not part with the stodgy guy!  He is
having water bottle competitions with his new gal and gets to live in
Dr Sandra bedroom such a lucky guy!
