is the only correspondence, dated Nov. 19, 2003 we have had from Cathy
Johnson-Delaney since Foxy was murdered. In it she claims that Foxy
belonged to WFRS, so that it was her decision when to kill Foxy. She
also claims that Foxy was in constant pain. ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE. This
correspondence is FIFTEEN days AFTER Cathy had been told by a fellow
WFRS board member that Foxy did not belong to WFRS.

On November 4, 2003, Cathy was told in a phone call, by the founder and
ex-pres. and current board member of WFRS, that "Foxy never was a WFRS
ferret." On November 5, 2003 I received an e-mail (copy of that e-mail
is also posted on the site) confirming the phone call to Cathy, that
Foxy belonged to me and that another WFRS board member, Julie, would be
returning Foxy to me. I spoke to Julie who confirmed that she would be
bringing Foxy to our shelter the following day. (According to Jeremy,
the current pres. of WFRS, Cathy stopped the return of Foxy.)

I was surprised by the recent post from Terri. I don't know her, but her
personal experiences actually confirm several points in my complaint to
the Washington State Veterinary Board; Cathy's abusive treatment of the
WFA shelter volunteers & Cathy's lack of medical records.

Just for the FML's information: Terri is not a fan of mine and seems not
to be inclined to assist with my complaint to the state regarding Cathy.
However, there are many other WFRS volunteers around who have this same
information and who may also come out of the woodwork, when they learn
they are not alone in their experiences. Two ex-volunteers have
approached me at our shelter to offer support & testimony if needed to
back up my complaint and their information has also been forwarded to
the state vet board.

I will be very surprised if Cathy's license is not sanctioned in some
manner, but on the other hand, it's veterinarians overseeing
veterinarians so I won't know until their investigation is complete. At
this point the state feels I've presented enough evidence to pursue the
complaint and to assign a case number, so it's passed through step one.
It appears that it will likely take months for a complaint to work it's
way through the state vet board.
