Are you sure this is flatulence not an anal gland discharge?  Flatulence
would smell pretty much like a litter box.  Some ferrets aren't really
descented though supposed to be - might have missed one.  And this is a
situation where descenting isn't a bad thing.

Not sure whether you want to bring ferrets in or send ferrets out.  The US
is very lax on bringing ferrets in.  About anything the sirline accepts
seems to be fine.  Sweden is extremely restrictive on bringing ferrets in.
Not up on other countries.
