To Laura:

I "STRONGLY" agree with Ellen Van Landingham!

My Jade Elaine was diagnosed with an enlarged spleen in late July/August of
'97. This was of course after tests, ex-rays. In the beginning Jade was
eating well and playing well, then all of the sudden he went down hill
"VERY QUICKLY." At one point Jade's breathing was labored and I thought I
was losing him. Don't mind me, I get teary eyed when I think back on
this.

My Vet, Debbie called me at work early Monday morning to confirm permission
for surgery "STET." Jade lost over half his weight with the removal of his
spleen, it was that bad!

That was in September of '97. With the good Lord willing, my miracle boy
is still with me here today more ferrety than ever.

laura, again I *totally* agree with Ellen, please get another opinion.
Always,

Jadesun :O)
