Sharing - I have something I would like to share.  While nursing Ulysses I
contacted a Shamanic Healer/Animal Communicator and this is a portion of
what she shared with me "As far as I can tell love is a shared resource
that comes through us from universal love, and when we pass over we can
merge with that love and really get some great vibes!"
 
Thanks to all that sent their condolences on Ulysses's passing.  I know
that Ulysses is soaring with the eagles and when he looks down at me he
sees the love I have for him in my heart and soul.
 
Thanks also to all that surf for us.  iGive is donating $10 for each new

I also want to thank everyone who offers support in other ways as well for
us and anyone else.  Your willingness to give of yourself is very much
appreciated.  Too many times we take people and the things they do for
granted.  A simple thank you means so much.
 
Discovery -
In nursing Ulysses I used a product called Ferret Rx from the ferret store.
It is used similar to vicks to unstuff noses.  You place one drop on the
side of the nose (not in).  I discovered another use.  When someone is
picking (specifically Rusty or Pumkin in our home), I apply 1 drop on each
side of their nose and VOILA!  They can't smell anything but the oil.  No
more picking (it's difficult to pick on the other ferrets if you can't
smell them!).  So if you have a bully in your group this might be something
to try.  I wouldn't use it every day (other times I cage the bad boys) but
for those occassional times it has worked well for us both in keeping the
boys from picking and for keeping my stress level down.
