My Boo ferret is also Deaf the only problem I have encountered with this
is he is a little more nervous around quick movement and strange things
although that only if it startles him.. he gets more nervous when people
are holding him too.. I have noticed that it helps to hold him really
close and speak to him the vibrations of my voice I think are soothing.
I think you have to cuddle wih a deaf ferret more then with your adverage
ferret, then they will not be as nervous about all those quick movements
and stuff like that if they know the are in a place where the are loved.
I have had some luck training my boo with one of those lazer light things
he follows the lazer mouse as I like to call it. Don't use a flash light
though they may think it's a car light if they ever get out. good luck
and let me know what works for you!
