Some of you may remember my posting a few weeks back about an adorable panda
kit at the petstore who had a sore butt. Well, as it turned out, my
boyfriend bought him for me as a housewarming present (we just moved). The
swelling around his anus went down and he seems very healthy. The only
problem is that he also came home with the ECE virus......

My 18 month old male Brutus is very ill and my female of the same age, Lucy,
is starting to get sick also. The kit (Bravo) and my older female (Boo Boo)
seem to be fine. Their stools are normal and they are eating just fine.

Brutus went to the vet last week and received a shot of fluids under his
skin and is currently on amoxicillan. I have been giving him pedialyte and
he has been eating a little bit better in the past two days. We bought the
soft canned ferret food and have been mixing it with Nutrical and baby food.
He has been eating a little bit of this for me if I feed him by hand. He
has already lost almost a pound and looks awful. Before this he was quite
plump and LOVED to eat.

I can't stand seeing my babies this way. We are on the third week of this
and I am so afraid for them. If any of you have the time and have been
through this, please let me know how you made it through this. Any specific
recipes for duck soup to help fatten them up would also be greatly
appreciated.

Thank you very much.
