I totally agree with you!!!  Before Zoie came to us, of course I looked
at the babie fuzzies at the pet store but I didn't have the uncontrolable
urge to take them all home.  Since my babies have stolen my heart (zoie,
nippy & eddy....my disabled guy) I find myself driving for 15 minutes
to get to the local pet store just to check on the fert babies....pet
warehouse here takes very good care of all their animals here.......
but....... after getting my fuzzies, every time that i would go up
there, I would tell anyone that worked there that the litter that they
were using wasn't good for them and after talking to the manager......
they FINALLY started using shredded paper which is better than the pine
litter.....every time i go up there....i want to put all those babies in
my coat and RUN!!!!  I would love to bring them home but the only thing
stopping me is that they are 130.00!!!!
 
SO....I don't see how ANYONE can not just melt when the fuzzies look at
you with those eyes!!!!  They all have a little place in my heart....
about a month or so ago, I was doing my usual rounds to get supplies and
holding the new babies that the store had when I got to talking to one
of the employees about the ferrets when she told me about one that no
one wanted.....of course I had to see him..........in the sick room was
a little sable guy, about 3 months old, just adorable!!!!  Needless to
say....I brought him home...........no one wanted him because he has a
neurological disorder that causes him to fall over and not walk right....
Thats my Eddy!!!!!  He is just like the other ferrets!!!!  He plays, and
has so much energy it's unreal!!!!
 
anyways.......I don't see how anyone could not love these little guys!!!
