With regard to the questions about who to trust.  There seemed to be some
questions about Dayna - is she for real or not?  So I took the advice of
someone on the list and checked with a person who I know and trust - Pat
Wright of Ferret Anon.
 
Pat is well known in the ferret community.  He says that Dayna is their hard
working ferret archivest, and has his complete trust.  That's good enough
for me.
 
I certainly don't mean to insult Dayna by doing the checking, but I do agree
that if there is any question in anyone's mind about a charity/cause that
they are thinking of supporting, they owe it to themselves and to the
charity/cause to check it out and be certain.  I think Dayna and every other
shelter would agree.  If someone has any questions about the legitimacy of
me or my shelter, I know I'd welcome the "background" check anytime.
