Easter is the Goddess of Dawn, the Easter celebration predates the
Christian usage, and the two events have just sorta merged. It's the
first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox. Phew!
That's why it's such a migrating holiday.

People have always celebrated spring, the time of new beginnings and that
is what Easter is all about. The religious connotation just sort of
linked itself to the established celebration. So it's just peachy that
ferrets deliver colored eggs on Easter. Somebody's gotta do it!

Power to the Ferret!
