Noah's coughing sounds a lot like my Smudge. Smudge too coughed while he
ate and I always thought it was because he ate so fast. However it got
worse and it was suggested to me that maybe his tonsils were swollen and
restricting his esophogus. I took him to our vet and had him checked out
and his tonsils were ok and nothing seemed to be causing a problem that way.
he did treat him for allergies and lo and behold he was fine. he coughs
occasionally now but not nearly as hard or as long. Now it is more like he
is clearing his throat. He used to cough so hard it scared the daylights
out of me. I've also been told this could be an indication of a heart
problem. I would have your vet check him out.

One of the best ways you can help your vet is to be able to relate the
symptoms accuratley. Your baby cannot tell him outright what is wrong.
Hope Noah is ok :)
