To the folks who posted the unsubstantiated rumors and innuendo regarding
ECE contamination at the ferret show in WA this weekend -- shame on both of
you.  You should be ashamed of yourselves for acting like children in a
vindictive game of "I heard . . . ", "someone told me . . .", and "I don't
know if this is true or not, but . . .."
 
I don't post often to the FML basically because of all the factionalism that
already exists.  But, this is getting a bit too much.  I know it is human
nature that we all won't always get along, but it is about time to begin
acting like the responsible adults we like to believe ourselves to be.
Spreading gossip and unsupported innuendo is not a responsible, adult
behavior.  If you have a problem with one club or organization, then by all
means feel free to start another.  But for goodness sake, please do not do
it at the expense of the reputation of another.  Please do not spread lies
and gossip in a malacious attempt to get revenge.  Act like a responsible
adult and put an end to this factionalism.  It is no accident that the most
good has always occurred when people put aside their differences and
cooperated with each other.
 
Pogo was right when he observed, "We have met the enemy . . . and he is us."
