I think that one of my fur kids may have Cardiomyopathy. She seems to have
a lot of the symptoms that are listed in A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO FERRET CARE.
We took her to the vet, but he thought she probably had the flu, as we
all had it over the holidays. It has been 2 weeks now and she isn't any
better. What I would like to know is what kind of TESTS should I ask for
at the vets? Or what kind of tests do vets use to diagnose the disease?
She had a full body x-ray when she went in for the flu and the vet said her
internal organs looked OK. They also did a blood work up. That was OK
also. She has been on Bob Church's Gravy since her kidney tried to shut
down about 4 months ago. That could account for the Good blood work. Any
help or ideas would greatly be appreciated. We have an appointment for
this Sat. 1-29-2000.

This list is a great source of information. Thanks for the help.
