Thanks for the info about the tick lasso. It seems to be a logical
improvement on the tweezer method. That is to say: "Why didn't I think
of it first?" :o)

I thought it was interesting that they also say that the tick should be
twisted out, rather than pulled straight out. Maybe I should have taken
that idea more seriously.
