Someone at my work just told me that her daughter used to own a ferret,
but had to get rid of it when she got pregnant because she could get
toxoplasmosis from the poop/litterbox - just like with cats. Now I have
certainly heard of this regarding cats before (although I didn't get rid
of my 6 when I was expecting, just wore rubber gloves when scooping) but
I have never heard this regarding ferrets. Has anyone else???

Thanx - Jacci & Kira the Wonder-Fert
