Hi William, et. al.
 
The only thing I'm cautious about large cages is that the floors are no
farther than maby 10" apart, excapt if you stagger half floors so they can
stand up..  The condition you want to avoid is the possibility of falling
down a four foot drop..  Ferrets have been reported to be injured this way,
using what are sold as cat cages.  They usually only have side shelves and a
sheer drop to the bottom.
