Vinyl tile squares, available at your local home improvement store or
flooring stores, work well for little paws.  Cheap ugly ones are about 25
cents for a 12 inch square - prices go up from there.  Cut to fit cage.
Self-adhesive backing.  Easy cleanup.  Place towels, old shirts with
zippers/buttons removed for curling up in, plus a snuggly hammock :-)
