Hi,

I was wondering what the consensus is now regarding feeding corn and corn
products to ferrets. I remember back in 1983 when I got my first ferret I
was warned by the petshop NOT to feed it corn or anything with corn in it.
Since then there has been talk off and on here about it but I haven't read
anything about it recently. To be safe, I've avoided it, except of course
in feeds that may have corn or corn meal in it (very hard to avoid) but
the reason I am asking is I recently got a exotic pet feed catalog and it
included ferret food and treats. On one page was advertised corn on the
cob and corn kernals. I wanted to check with y'all before I write to these
people in case things have changed and it is now acceptable. I have dealt
with these people in the past and they are very nice people so I want to
talk to them first, before releasing their names on here and siccing
FMLers on them :-).
