The American Ferret Association is asking each and every ferret owner
and/or interested person, to please go to our website at www.ferret.org
and go to the TOP article "UPDATE" on contacting your congressional
representatives and senators (NOT on the State level, but on the national
level) to help us get this rule pushed through the USDA.  USDA is now
telling us it may take up to a year, however, the Public Information
Officer told us that by contacting your representatives to put pressure
on the USDA will hasten the process along.  Once you go into the article
itself, there is a form letter for everyone to simply print out, fill
out, sign and mail.  It will do an enormous amount of help, ESPECIALLY
NOW JUST BEFORE ELECTIONS ARE ABOUT DUE!!  Please help in this endeavor
to get the "ball rolling" on saving baby ferrets.

and scroll down to "Official List of Members by State".
 
To view a list of your Senators, go to http://www.senate.gov/ and scroll
down to "CONNECT WITH YOUR SENATORS" and then click on "List Senators by
State".
