I've used puppy housebreaking training pads in the past for sick ferrets
that couldn't get into a box. They're like Pampers (diapers) only larger
and I'm sure cheaper. Not nearly as cheap as free newspaper, but they work
great. Soft and absorbant and with the plastic backing, nothing leaks
through. You can get 'em at any large pet store.

For the ferrets,
Mike
