Our little boy Jako was diagnosed with adrenal, and he too has the runs.
I think there are a number of causes.  At first it was because he had
stomach ulcers in conjunction with the adrenal.  Next, we put him on a
liquid diet and meds that cause that.  If this is a recurring problem I
would research his diet and possible "bugs" in his system.  Good luck.
