Danya:

As I sit here with tears streaming down my cheeks after reading your post, I
am hoping someone on the list can give you the name of the man with a ferret
who has no hind paws. Those of us who met at the NJ Pet Show saw this big
old guy slipping happily around on the linoleum and obviously feeling very
loved and confident. His mother had gotten overly enthusiastic in cleaning
him at birth and had partially eaten his hind legs.

Can anyone put Danya in contact with him? I never got his name. He may be
able to give her some advice on what her new baby's life will be like for
him (although I guess it will be at least twice as hard as his own ferret's,
since front paws are so useful).

God bless you, and your precious charge too. Since he *was* found and did
*not* die in the park, we have to believe that you were meant to show him
that he deserves love, not pain. I know many of us will be praying for his
physical and emotional healing, and that nothing more is wrong with him.
