I was watching the Today show the other day, and they talked about
decorating your tree inexpensivly, and to decorate it to what interest you.
They showed one tree that was decorated with the owners interest of
gardening, they ran a old garden hose up and around the tree as garland, and
hung life size (small) bird houses, with fake birds of course, gardening
tools etc.  truly beautiful and unique, since I am a gardener.  But Linda's
idea even sounded more interesting, and I think this is what I plan to do,
make my tree a totally ferret tree, now I will start planning my decorations
of things my ferrets like to steal and hide, and ferret toys and yes, the
dryer hose is pretty cool, let them have this season to enjoy the tree, with
caution, the tree, obviously will need to be hooked up so they cannot tip it
over.
