Well, got another call today.
 
Guy finds a ferret.  Keeps it a few days, decides he can't keep it.  Won't
call animal control (they only "pick up and put down" ferrets), so calls
Zoo to find out what to do.  Karen at Zoo (who usually gets the stray ferts
in this town) is going out of town for a few days & can't take it.  Puts
the guy in touch with me.
 
Aaargh! (but gently, with a smile).  Steve has said NO quite firmly several
times to being a "halfway house" for prodigal ferrets.  We now have 2 in
residence.
 
Anyone in the El Paso area missing a woozle?
