Interesting ferret sighting

Tuesday's N.Y. Times carried an anti-fur ad titled "An Appeal Regarding
Princess Diana to People Who Still Wear Fur." Basically, since the Princess
never wore fur, PETA was appealing to readers to boycott the fur industry in
her memory. Also, they were asking for donations and memberships. What
does this have to do with ferrets? I don't know, but there was a large,
cute ferret 'holding' the bottom part of the ad. Did anyone else see this?
Did anyone else think it strange that they used a ferret, rather than a
mink, or is it just because ferrets are SO cute, they couldn't resist? The
ferret actually looks sad in the picture.
