In regards to the post about ferret pawing at the mouth, and getting
blood work done to check for insulinoma/glucose.
 
I try really hard not to be critical, but I can tell you now, I'd never
set foot in that vet's office again - clipping a claw too short to get
the blood??!!  Good heavens, that's painful to have done at the time and
for a time afterwards.......there's a nerve in that claw.......that's
what veins are for, and if he can't find a vein in a ferret, I just don't
think he can possibly be a competent ferret vet.
