From the Manchester (NH) Union Leader July 3, 2007 -

"Derry Police say a ferret died after it was thrown from a third story
window. Police responded to a Derry apartment on Saturday night for a
report of a domestic disturbance and learned that a ferret had been
thrown onto the street. They later found it dead, apparently run over
by a car. Police believe the pet was killed from the impact of the
fall, not from being run over. Police said they are investigating
incident as a case of animal cruelty. No arrests have been made as
of yesterday, police said, but investigators have one male suspect."

Please give your fuzzies an extra hug tonight and an extra prayer for
this innocent little one that couldn't defend himself.
