Scooter passed away around 3:45 a.m. Monday. There are three likely
possibilities for what took him, singly or in combination and he is,
of course, having a necropsy with pathology. He was our little badly
deformed boy who had so many surgeries, would talk to us when he kissed
us, and who badly missed having any of the types of treat or food that
would irritate his stomach. Ever since his stomach became adhered to his
liver I think he missed being able to jump from the bed with abandon,
too.

It was very hard losing him within 12 hours of losing Sevie.

I apologize for not having had enough sleep or time to tackle the
sympathy notes that have arrived, but it will take me a while, and I
really have to ask that further notes be held for a few days, please,
or my e-mail is going to crash and that would not work out at all well
right now. We aren't thinking straight right now.
