If anyone has anything to say to me about the Ferret Diet escapade.......
please do so via email.......and not to the FML.
 
But...........I have to publicly respond to Melissa H's post on 12/6/2000:

Yes, I took the links you provided........because they were thrown at me.
You made me feel like and idiot for feeding my ferrets what I have fed
them.  And you have publicly done so...........on the FML........and I
don't appreciate it.  After telling you that I purchased new food from
the Ferret Store (And this was not because of your advice, Melissa.......
this was because I saw a cheaper way to buy Ferret Diet Ultimate than I
could at the pet store.........so please don't make it sound as though I
did this because you made me see the error of my ways.  I still think my
ferrets are healthy and happy.......and I love them............and while
my new food ~ if they eat it ~ will have more protein and fat.........I am
only trying it because I saw a deal.  Call me cheap.........go ahead......
but don't you price stuff at the grocery store?  If you find two brands of
corn at the grocery store ~ Del Monte and Food Club......do you not choose
the cheaper brand?  You don't?  Well, I do.......because I am on a limited
budget.  And I am still healthy for eating generic food.  My Ferrets eat
FERRET FOOD........yes, I'm buying Ultimate which means it is better than
what I am feeding them now.......that's a great bonus.  But I can't even
guarantee they will eat it after eating the Ferret Diet they are on.  We'll
see.  If they do.........YAY!  If not...... I'm going to keep feeding them
what they will eat.  Thanks for your opinion and for harassing me......and
making me very very upset, angry and frustrated.  I now know that there are
some very uppity people on this list........and that there are some people
who cannot simply be satisfied.  Now, quit emailing me.......because it's
gotten ridiculous.  If you continue to do so, your emails will be deleted.
Notice, I have not submitted your email address......you know who you are.
