I saw a post concerning the use of Ivomectin for killing ear mites. We too
have found it very effective and relatively easy to use. Just a note of
caution, though. Ivometcin is toxic. The dilution given to us by our vet,
Dr. Dutton, is 10 MG/ML. The directions call for ONE drop in each ear; then
repeat ONCE again in TWO WEEKS. Of course the dosage will depend on
dilution.

It does lose potency once mixed. It should be kept in a dark bottle.

Before using the Ivomectin solution, you should clean the ears of wax. We
use Chlorhexiderm Flush for that task.

Dick B. Not a vet. Please talk to your vet prior to using Ivomectin.
