I have to say, i LOVE the wood pellets. Love. O-mi-gawd, i am beside
myself with the joy of a teenager with infinite credit limit who's visiting
a shopping mall, they are that wonderful. No, really.

Mo' Maggie asked how people clean up the pellets: i put a thin layer in -
like an inch deep - and i scoop out poops and obvious spots once a day, but
then dump the entire thing once a week. The ferrets seem to be okay with
that, although unlike Maggie i haven't noticed a huge increase in hits since
we began using it.

I use the thin layer and resmooth it out after cleaning because it absorbs
and breaks down *so well* that i dont need a lot in the box. The biggest
problem my three have is that i think it doesnt feel like litter on their
paws, and that bothers them a bit. I would change out the entire box more
frequently, but such is my laziness and such is the great odor and mess
control of the litter, it isnt necessary.
