Hello all.  On my way in to work this morning, I heard ferrets mentioned
here on the local Milwaukee radio station Lazer 103.  The two morning show
guys, Bob and Brian did not know a lot about ferrets, so were guessing on
the things they said.  Among the misinformation:
 
- Ferrets are now legal in California
- Ferrets are rodents
- Ferrets smell (okay, they got that one)
- Ferrets are wild
- Cats will kill ferrets on sight

I have already sent them part of the Ferret-FAQ addressing the points above,
but maybe a large number of well-intentioned, polite e-mail will get them to
retract some of the things they have said.  A lot of ferrets are sold in the
Milwaukee area (one pet store told me the sell about 24 every two weeks--
and they're in a lot of pet stores).  It would be nice if we could get some
good PR.  Also, it would not hurt to mention the Kodo case, if there's a
chance they might give it air time.
