The slant makes me sigh, and the media source calling an otter a
"ferret" in the photo used amazes me, though over the years I also
have heard people think that weasels, polecats, badgers, groundhogs,
BFFs, rats, meerkats, minks, and some monkeys were domestic ferrets.

Hmmmm, there is a survey to do: what animals have you run into people
mistakenly thinking were domestic ferrets?
