Brain Vinacco wrote about his "zoo" in a post on 18 Dec.:

I just recently got my snake (an aberrant desert phase striped California
Kingsnake) and have only "introduced" him to the ferrets while the ferrets
were in their cage. The ferrets were very curious what this "thing" was,
but the snake "tested" the ferrets with its tongue and immediately hid
behind my fingers! Pretty funny! There won't be any other Introductions,
though, and the snake happily resides in his securely locked aquarium far
from the ferrets!
