LOL, at least u know to say this in hebrew:-)
 
The hebrew word for "Ferret" is........... "CHAMOS"(cha-mos)
"Cha" - Is pronounced like u r deeply clearing your throat.  I bet all of
you with Scottish and dutch families know what I mean.Its a sound you don't
have in spoken american english.
 
"mos"-Pronounced like the beginning on "mostly".

BTW,ferret in french is furre't with a silent t.
