When Phoebe licks her baby chicken food concoction, she appears to use
the underside of her tongue most of the time rather than the top. It's
a curious thing to watch but the important thing is that she loves the
concoction and keeps that tongue action going as fast as possible. The
baby chicken food contains crushed prednisone.

In the fall Phoebe had a partial pancreatectomy and now, at almost 8
years old, is needing a boost from 1.25 mg prednisone and 1/3 jar of baby
chicken food twice a day. For feedings, I wrap her up in a towel for
better holding and she wipes her chin off on it when finished.
