We had one ferret named Maggie Mae that looked really strange when she
moulted. She was as black sable. Was born that way and for six years
had always had the same look. Her next moult was very different!! When
she moulted this time she looked just like a two-striped skunk!! She
stayed black but had white stripes all the way down on each side of
her back then squared off right at the start of her tail!!
