Hi Everyone,

When I got Xena & Spooky, they came with a bag of the bad version of
8-in-1 with all the sweets and I successfully switched them over to TF
Turkey, Vension, Lamb, which I had left over from Minky & Klondike. I
wanted to have another high-quality kibble to mix in so I got Evo for
Ferrets. The reviews from other ferret lovers were great, but my
furkids don't like it at all. When offered by hand they won't touch
it, and one (or both) of them is putting them out of the dish and onto
the shelf.

What should I do? Be patient and keep trying to mix it in very
gradually; it's only been 2 days. Or should I forget about it and get
something else? If I do decide to get something else, what should I
get? How do I know they'll eat that? Is there anything that all ferrets
like? My other possible choice was Grain-Free Zupreem, but I don't know
if they'd like that either.

I say they're fussy because they also wouldn't eat the Ferret Chew
Sticks! All the ferrets I've had went crazy for those. Unfortunately,
I ordered 2 packages because I thought they'd love them and they're a
pretty good treat. They really love Bandits, so maybe they just want
that. At first, Spooky wouldn't even touch Ferretone! but after seeing
Xena go for it he tried it and liked it. Now he likes it a lot. They'll
eat the chew sticks if I put a bit of Ferretone on it, but won't if
there isn't any.

Also, I'm having a problem with my tube of Ferretvite. Instead of a
paste coming out, just the oil comes out. Occasionally the thick stuff
comes out but more likely the oil. I've tried shaking it, storing it
in different positions, but nothing seems to help. It has 2 more years
on the expiration date, so I don't think it's bad. Has anyone ever had
this experience and/or does anyone know of a remedy? Is it even good
to give them this as a treat, since it is very sweet?

Thanks to all for your continued help.

Shron,
Spooky & Minky
