Hello, I recently posted a question about my ferret grinding his teeth,
thank you to everyone that responded to that post. However I brought him
(snowball) to the vet the other day to have a barrium xray done and that
showed everything was normal nothing blocking or hairballs and my vet
doesn't think it is an ulser, but he keeps grinding his teeth and I know
it's not a happy thing like one person responded (thank you though)
because snowball does it when I give him his carafate or it's been awhile
sence he had it and i'll see him doing it the carafate does seem to help.
But I have seen him grind about an hour or hour and a half after I gave
it too him, I'm gonna have my vet recheck his chemistry profile again,
although it was done in July if everything comes back good with that then
we're stumped, does anyone have any ideas why he is grinding his teeth,
there is a reason for it and i'm bownd and determined to find out why.

Anyone that might know can email me at [log in to unmask]

thanks alot,

Theresa.
