To Graforex:
The pellets I am using is just made of straw real straw and nothing else.
They grind it so it becomes like flour (I mean in very little pieces), so if
they eat it there is no danger. I hope! This "flour" is compressed and turns
into pellets big a little more than a cigarette (6 mm) and about 1/2 a inch
long!

My ferrets do not eat it maybe because they were already used to the rabbit
food. It absolutely absorbs all the urine and it seems that it neutralizes
the effects (smell). The cigarettes become bigger and expand a little bit.
With a lot of urine it becomes like flour and drops on the bottom of the
litter box!

I don't know what alfalfa is and probably we do not have it here!

Ciao
