Sandee or Muldoone, please let me know if Marble made it safely across
the bridge. We had to help him cross yesterday. He had been diagnosed
in Dec with a tumor in his chest and abdomen and it finally took it's
toll yesterday and I made the decision that enough was enough.

Marble was a handsome guy, a big silver mitt with a heart of gold. He
was only 2 years old and he had been through a lot in his two years.
When he was only a few months old, before he came to live with me, he was
diagnosed with some type of intestinal problem that required surgery.
His humans, at that time, apparently could not afford to have this done
so they surrendered him to my vet, she did the surgery on him and when he
had recovered she asked me to take him and be his mommy. I said yes.
Good decision on my part. When he was diagnosed in Dec. there wasn't
any treatment available so we made the decision to keep him comfortable
with depomedrol shots which he got once a month. This kept him going up
until a few weeks ago when he started to worsen. He had a good quality
of life until then. He loved to get in my closet, and curl up in a pile
of old underwear<g> or under the night stand in a blanket or a plastic
bag. Now..I have no clue what the attraction was for sleeping in the
bag. He also loved to be taken outside so he could explore. All in all,
he was a pretty terrific guy and he takes a large piece of my heart with
him.

So, Sandee or Muldoone, please make sure Marble finds the other members
of my fuzzy crew who have preceeded him to the bridge. That would be
Pepper, Sabrina, Cinnamon, Jillian, Wriggley and Zoey. He didn't know
any of them but Zoey but I know they will welcome him with open paws.
Since he was very close to your age, Muldoone, perhaps you will show him
around and make sure he finds a good hammie to call his own. Tell him
his Mommy loves him and misses him and I will see him sometime in the
future.

Ann and Casper, Casey, Minka and Rosie.
