O.K. all Ferret Mailing list member I haven't heard a comment yet
about the FFIRC acceptance as an Exhibitor at EXPO 93. So to get
your enthusiam going let me give you a tid bit. Thus far
(and it's only been 5 days). Our list of the brightest and
best booth personnel is growing. We have the AFA Pres. Sally Heber,
and V.P. Dr. Freddie Hoffman. We also have the cofounder and
codirector of Shelters That Adopt and Rescue Ferrets (S.T.A.R)
Ms. Pam Grant. We have Ann Davis from LAFF and Project Breed.
We have it on rumor that the number one Ferret vet in the
U.S. Dr. Thomas Kawaski will be attending for at least one day.
As for vets we are inviting to particiate: Dr. Susan Brown from IL,
The famous Dr. James Fox and Dr. Susan Erman (Fox is autor of
the book "Biology and Dieases of the Ferret). Well folks how is that for just
a beginning contingent. I want all you Ferret Mailing List people to get in
gear. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. Let me hear your suggestions. Contact me.
Oh, I forgot one imporatn person who hasn't gotten her invitation yet but
it will be in the mail soon. MS NANCY HARTMAN. And if Anybody has Ran
Cellers of DEBFAM I sure would appreciate it. We have now grown from
one booth to two booths!!!!!! ALL ferret owners should be overjoyed
that we have been accepted as an exhibitor. It is even rumored that
one of our contingent will spead at the seminar "Disaster Management
Planning for Animal Protections Organizations. Signed Chere
McCoy, President of Ferret Friends of Indian River County.
