Tonight is cold in NH and colder still with the loss of one more face at
Ferret Wise Shelter.
 
"Sierra Ferretwise" 12-16-03
lost to intestinal lymphoma-
and sadly survived by senior shelter cagemate
" Beau Ferretwise".
 
Tonight shelter Mom had to say goodbye to Sierra who in the past 10 days
quickly went from a vibrant gal to a frail ferret.
 
We were fortunate to get an emergency appt for a look see after exam--
and the results were that Sierra had a illness none of us could overcome.
Thank You to the wonderful shelter friend who donated to the Vet fund
recently ,we utilized your gift tonight hoping of course for a cure.
 
And though we know she is free of pain and able to dance and play once
more-- the pain of grief runs deep marking one more furry face that had
to depart before the joy of the Holidays arrived.
 
Please light a candle and wish her well on her journey to the spirit
world.
