     Thanks for the advice on laxatives for my carpet sharks. I assumed
that laxative = diarrhetic; thanks for setting me straight (but what *is*
the difference, assuming a computer type like me can understand such a
veterinary matter?). Anyway, I'll hunt around for the brands you suggested.

     Well, Cassidy has discovered insoles. The other day I found one of my
runners in the middle of the living room, while the 'stealer of soles' (sorry,
couldn't resist :) was hightailing it away with my oder eater. Oh, well, I'll
have the living room (which is where the front door is in my condo) partitioned
off pretty soon, and my runners, CDs, and LPs (all at floor level) should be
safe (not to mention I'll be less worried about my rug weasels sneaking out
when I'm entering/leaving; oops, I mentioned it :). Cassidy's still getting
bigger; now she can pull the 'fish on a string' right off the fridge. She's
nipping less, and not as hard, and she's usually using the litter pans (though
Buddy has been giving me some trouble, going beside the pan instead of in it;
hard to do anything about it when I'm at work all day). Cass goes in next week
for her rabies shot (more as a safeguard against paranoia if she bites anyone
than because she's at all likely to come in contact with rabies). Guess that's
all the news for now (oh yeah, glad to hear Cass's nose should stay completely
pink. It's so cute :).
