Hello,

I have three mostly silent ferrets, and two who never utter a dook even in
most serious play - of course, instead they're squeaking, but only when
playing. Potpie only dooks when she's *really* excited - exploring a new
house - or when she's offended. Then she runs around the room muttering to
herself and 'putting things into order.'

Friday dooks constantly and noisily; she's talking all the time. In fact,
the way she dooks, it's a rapid-fire barrage that sounds suspiciously like
(in tone and quality) Beavis' "way too excited" laugh on Beavis and
Butthead. You know, when Beavis sees something, oh, cool -
huhuhuhUHUHUHUHuhuhuhuhuhuh. So Friday earned the nickname 'Beavis.' (The
other three are still all 'Butthead.')
