Read about the litter diggers time and again.  My new little one, Blu,
started the diggin thing and I solved it by getting a brand of litter which
is organic and dust free.  My other girls don't dig and I use a clay brand
for them.  However Blu revels in the clay and sneezes exponentially after
doing so (sneezing does feel good) .  Worried about the dust and her lungs I
bought "Cat Country" a pelleted litter which looks kinda like rabbit food!
Its extremely absorbant and has absolutely no odor, even from urine.
 
Also, I wanted to know if anyone else has ever heard of a ferret liking
Pizza Sauce??!!!  Blu just loves the stuff (Ragu, of course)!  Iwas making a
pizza and she was on the counter.  Blu came over and started to lick at the
lid of the jar with obvious relish bordering on ecstacy!  She is having no
ill effects from it and now I'm using it to train her to ride on my
shoulders (she's new & having her fair share of troubles with the other 3).
I tried spagetti sauce and raw tomato--NO dice.  Pizza sauce is it!  She
even turns her cute little nose up at Ferretone!  Always a surprise worth
waiting for, Our ferrets!
 
Also, I would like to say welcome back to Kelleen.  Glad you're here.  There
are always necomers, as I once was, but I always love to hear from the Grand
Dames of the FML (Please excuse the expression BIG, Mo BOB & others-- my
french is very poor and I don't know what the male term is for the same)!
