Last week when a shelter Mom recommended I give some children's
Kaopectate to my teeth grinding ferret (who was waiting for his weekend
vet appointment) I couldn't believe I didn't have it on hand. I used to
be more careful to have emergency supplies. As I stock my ferret RX kit
I was just wondering what supplies everyone keeps on hand.

What I usually have:

Warming pad (the herbal type that you microwave, not the electric type)
Electrolyte powder
Chicken baby food
Dry duck soup mix

syptic powder
syringes
